Saturday's for Sinners

 

 

Breaking News! Cindy Anthony on the stand facing the prosecutor in the now famous Casey Anthony case.  Jurors coming in on a Saturday! Judges coming in on a saturday!? Millions of people crowded around thier television set hoping justice can be brought to Caylee Anthony, the little two year old girl who was found dead.  Sorry, but I'm throwing the BS card out there.  I have a hard time believing these jurors care about the little girl, they just want to be on T.V.  The judge calling for a court session on a Saturday?  It's the biggest case of his career, bring in the cameras!  Where did her dad come from? What about her brother Lee?  Her ex-boyfriend?  Her brother's fiancee?  Haven't heard of any of these people.  When you're willing to get your 15 minutes of fame, I guess you just throw your family under the bus.  I don't think these people testifyng are actually helping Casey, not punishing her (like I believe she should be).  This case started in 2008, and the Defense is now calling for a mistrial.  I can see her getting off the hook for this, and it's not because the defense did a great job arguing. To many people have testified, the hundreds of millions of people who have formed an opinion, will cripple this poor judge. 

Whats really sad?  This case will cripple our Judicial System.

Bring in enough photographers, get yourself a large support group, and hire a half way competent lawyer.  Murdering a two-year old will start having sentences of 90 days, maybe a year of probation and some petty community service.  I wish the court system would have never let us hear a word of what inside the court room.  People wouldn't be hoppin' out the woodwork just to get on HLN or CNN, they would sit at home and wait to hear the verdict, like most people do.  I don't know what's so special about the case anyway.  She's not the first person to kill her child (if she did), she's not the first mentally ill person to do something heinous.  She was just able to get her sinister little face on national news.  A little bit to much pride in that courtroom if you ask me.
