There goes my impulsive mind again.
Of course I care what people think, everyone does. How else would you make it in this life. There is a difference in caring what people think about you, and being a hardass. I still haven't figured that out, shoot me. Don't manipulate people just to get ahead . You'll fall so far back you'll be sitting shotgun in The Delorean.
- If you don't want to go to college, don't.
- If you don't want to believe in God, don't
- If you don't want a family, don't get married.
- If you want to watch Glee all day, please do.
- If you want to wear the same outfit every Tuesday, by all means.
- If you want to lie, go right ahead.
- If you want to murder, rape, and steal, just be careful.
People will see the kind of person you are for what you do. If you want others to like you and think positive things about you, act in a positive way.
Think about everything this world has gone through......I know, somehow we're still here typing blogs about your personal philanthropic thoughts, while the world continues to destroy itself. Yes, we are all held accountable for it, just because you never held a gun or ran for office, doesn't mean you haven't seriously damaged this earth. We all have, and most likely we're going to continue to do that. Races will get further seperated, people will start mass murders simply because they have a different view, the commodities we need to survive, will start to diminish. We will be left with nothing that brings us joy.
Why haven't the majority of the population done something about it? One word folks, Greed.
I know I'd screw a friend over to take the job we both wanted. (would you?)
It feels good to be able to go to Morton's and get a $40 steak, rather then going to meijers and buying one for $7.
Seeing your children in a private school, where they don't have to deal with the "commoners" would make you feel more at ease.
A job is a job, a steak is a steak, and a school is a school. Be thankful for what you have, and achieve self-satisfaction, not societies perception of satisfaction. The great thing about it is usually when we achieve self-satisfaction, people tend to see that. It's almost like the northern lights hover you all day. People want to be near you, talk to you, offer you that job, marry you, or simply be your friend. I can't ask for more then that.
Yes, I do care what others think.
But don't be controlled by thier thoughts, this is America afterall. (right...?)
Quote of the Post: "I would rather you hate me for who I am, then love me for who I'm not." Andre GideI love it.
